About Project:

The SPIN Project – Sporting a Path to an Inclusive and Greener World – is a collaborative Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to empowering young people through sport, sustainability education, and social inclusion. Bringing together organizations from Greece, Serbia, Hungary, Sweden, and Cyprus, the project combines expertise in youth work, non-formal education, sustainability, sports initiatives, and community engagement to create innovative learning opportunities for young people across Europe.

SPIN was created in response to the growing need for educational approaches that encourage young people to become active citizens while addressing important social and environmental challenges. By integrating Education Through Sport (ETS) methodologies with sustainability-focused learning, the project offers a unique and engaging way for youth to develop essential life skills while increasing their awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate action, equality, and social responsibility.

The project focuses on creating innovative educational resources and practical tools that can be used by youth workers, educators, sports organizations, and community groups. Among the main outcomes of the project are the development of an Educational Toolkit, a Digital Serious Board Game, and an E-Learning Platform, all designed to make sustainability education more interactive, accessible, and impactful for young people from diverse backgrounds.

SPIN goes beyond traditional learning approaches by using sport as a universal language that promotes inclusion, teamwork, cooperation, and participation regardless of social, cultural, or economic background. Through workshops, hackathons, local pilot activities, and international collaboration, the project aims to create safe and inclusive environments where young people can strengthen their leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

At its core, SPIN believes that young people have the power to shape a more sustainable and inclusive future. Combining innovation, education, and sport, the project supports the creation of empowered communities where youth are encouraged to take initiative, participate actively in society, and contribute positively to social and environmental change.

SPIN is more than a project, it is a shared European effort to inspire young people to become leaders of a greener, more inclusive, and more sustainable world.
